ENANTIS

The group has a core competency in the research into bacterial enzymes haloalkane dehalogenases. The research is undertaken at Loschmidt Laboratories at the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University Brno. Their ambition is to set up a spin off company ENANTIS that will commercially explore their proprietary technology and knowledge.

The extraordinary results of the group have not come unnoticed. There are currently negotiating with a number of well established commercial partners that are interested in exploiting results of their two most advanced biotechnology projects - use of enzymes for synthesis of optically active substances and detoxification of military material contaminated by warfare agents.
