Elisabet Manaskova
Elisabet completed her degree in General Medicine at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles
University. She then pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at the Faculty of
Information Technology, Czech Technical University, completing it in 2025. During her
bachelor’s study, she focused on optimizing the thrombolytic activity of staphylokinase using
machine learning-guided directed evolution, a line of research she will continue in her Ph.D.
at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University, starting in February. Her
research integrates computational approaches with experimental work provided by
Loschmidt Laboratories. Her interests center on machine learning and its applications in
protein engineering, particularly in improving thrombolytic proteins for enhanced efficacy and
safety.
