A Marie Curie Grant for Martin Marek

Martin Marek was successful in applying for a grant in Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowship with a project “Structural and biochemical studies of an ancestral enzyme with dual dehalogenase and luciferase activity” concerned with the study of ancestral reconstruction of proteins.
Sincere congratulations on this prestigious grant! Just how prestigious it is is obvious from the fact that from the 69 applications submitted from Czech institutions only 3 are going to receive funding from the EU.
