Amalie Receives Awards at the Conference of Young Life Scientists

Secondary school student Amalie Stekla received several prestigious awards for her research in marine bioluminescence at the Conference of Young Life Scientists 2026. Her project, which focuses on the structural and chemical basis of bioluminescence in the brittle star Amphiura filiformis, is supervised by Karolina Sedlackova.
