Celebrating Achievements: Awards, Publications, and Tech Upgrade!

We recently gathered to celebrate the achievements of Loschmidt Labs over the past period:

Award Winners: Huge congratulations to Daniel Pluskal for receiving the Government Prize for Talented Students, and to Martin Sitte for winning the Best Poster Award!

First Presentation: A fantastic job by Karolina Sedlackova on delivering her very first presentation at the Biochemistry Congress in Prague.

Scientific Impact: Our research was accepted for publication in several high-impact journals, including ACS Chemical Neuroscience, FEBS Open Bio, Nature Catalysis, Aquatic Toxicology, and International Journal of Biological Macromolecules.

Tech Upgrade: The installation of all instruments purchased through the #CLARA project at the International Clinical Research Center is now complete.

Lastly, we also celebrated the birthdays of seven lab members.

During the celebration, Martin Sitte shared his tips on presenting a poster successfully. David Kovar commented humorously on the new instrumentation: “Everything is here, but nobody knows where!”
