Ivana’s Research Stay at LL

It was a pleasure to host Ivana Timkova from the Center for Interdisciplinary Sciences at Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Kosice, Slovakia, for a research stay at the Loschmidt Laboratories!

Working with David Kovar, Ivana focused on gaining expertise in ultrasensitive fluorescence assays for halide detection and enzymatic dehalogenation—skills she will now implement at her home lab.

This critical training was supported by the EU’s #NextGenerationEU initiative, under the Recovery and Resilience Plan for Slovakia (Project No. 09I03-03-V04-00112).
