Linda and Martin on Synchrotron Measurements

Linda Kasiarova and Martin Marek have ventured to the European Synchrotron in Grenoble, France, where they’re busy measuring diffraction data from their protein crystal samples. Their work is centred on unravelling the macromolecular structures of apolipoprotein E and staphylokinase — essential proteins in the understanding Alzheimer’s disease and finding treatments for stroke. The measurements went smoothly, and we can’t wait to see the results!
