Make Our Planet Great Again Prize for Honza

Jan Mican has been awarded the Make Our Planet Great Again Prize for environmental research! This prestigious award is presented by the Embassy of the Republic of France in Prague and BNP Paribas bank.

Jan, a doctoral student at RECETOX, focuses on the computational analysis of enzymes against toxic environmental pollutants. His research, a collaboration with the University of Greifswald, has resulted in five publications and offers promising solutions for biodegrading plastics and pollutants.
