New Tool for Automated Querying of Web-Based Stability Predictors

Exciting news for protein design enthusiasts! We’re thrilled to introduce BenchStab, a new console tool that simplifies the process of evaluating how mutations affect protein stability. With BenchStab, one can easily execute 19 different prediction methods and collect results for multiple mutants using a single tool. Plus, it’s designed for easy expansion with additional predictors in the future. Moreover, we took advantage of the new tool and assessed 24 prediction methods using a newly created independent dataset from FireProtDB.
