Profile
Research interests
Jana Horackova is interested in bioinformatics tools for calculating the effect of mutations on protein stability, e.g., Rosetta ddg_monomer application, FoldX tool, and FireProt web server, which are all used for the stabilization of proteins. She focuses on testing the accuracy of different protein stability prediction methods on a recently published database of experimental stability data called FireProtDB, which she helped develop. Furthermore, she is interested in including molecular dynamics simulations in protein stability predictions and implementing the results to a new upcoming version of the FireProt web server.Education
