Success at ISBC & ISLS 2026 in Thailand

Our team members attended the XXIII International Symposium on Bioluminescence and Chemiluminescence and the XXI International Symposium on Luminescence Spectrometry (ISBC & ISLS 2026), held in Rayong, Thailand, from May 25–29, 2026. This event marked the first-ever ISBC & ISLS gathering held in Southeast Asia. Karolina Sedlackova and Martin Sitte presented a poster, while Martin Marek delivered a plenary lecture highlighting the complexity of Renilla bioluminescence.

Despite a large and competitive field of participants, Karolina Sedlackova received the Outstanding Poster Presentation Award, and Martin Sitte was honored with the Outstanding Oral Presentation Award.
