Rayyan holds a M.Sc. in Systems and Synthetic Biology from Université Paris-Saclay. He is currently enrolled in the Molecular and Cell Biology and Genetics doctoral program at Masaryk University. He is a member of Loschmidt Laboratories, since 2019 and his work is focused on ancestral sequence reconstruction and protein evolution. He is one of the developers of the FireProtASR and in the preceding 2 years, has co-authored 2 articles. He is also the recipient of the Marie Curie Innovative Training Network’s ES-Cat (Evolution, Synthetic biology and Bio-catalysis) fellowship.
