Jan Byška

Jan Byška is an Assistant Professor at Masaryk University in Brno and a part-time Associate Professor at the University of Bergen in Norway. His research interests lie in scientific visualization and visual analysis, with a primary focus on biomolecular and time-dependent data. He also has a strong background in computer graphics, which remains one of his core interests.
He co-authored the research and development of CAVER Analyst, a tool for the visual exploration of tunnels and their evolution over time. Jan is the co-author of 37 publications, which have received over 800 citations, including several best paper awards. He is also a recipient of the MUNI Scientists Award for Outstanding Research Results.
