Pavel Vanacek, Ph.D.
Pavel is a senior scientist with a strong interdisciplinary background spanning biochemistry, protein engineering, and data science. His academic journey began in RECETOX, continued in the Glycobiochemistry group, and culminated in the Protein Engineering team at Loschmidt Laboratories, Masaryk University, where he completed his Ph.D. He gained valuable applied experience in the spin-off biotech company Enantis and most recently as a Data Engineer at Kiwi.com. His international research experience includes stays at ETH Zürich (Switzerland) and Greifswald (Germany). Pavel has co-authored over 10 peer-reviewed publications and is a co-inventor on an international patent.
