Exciting news from the Brno Ph.D. Talent program!

New scholarship recipients have been awarded. We’re proud that several talented doctoral students from the Loschmidt Laboratories are among them.

Our winners and their outstanding projects:

• Jan Cesnek: Investigating protein interactions in Alzheimer’s disease to speed up the discovery of new therapeutics.

• Martin Havlasek: Developing highly accurate computational methods to design and identify potential drugs for Alzheimer’s.

• Tim de Martines: Engineering the protein staphylokinase to create better treatment options for stroke patients.

• Monika Rosinska: Mining protein databases to discover enzymes with enhanced capabilities and functions.
