David Presented at ESAB Webinar

David Bednar gave a lecture “EnzymeMiner and SoluProt: searching for novel and soluble enzymes in sequence databases” at ESAB Webinar on Novel Enzymes on March 5th, 2021. The mission of ESAB (European Society of Applied Biocatalysis) is to promote the development of Applied Biocatalysis throughout Europe. Applied Biocatalysis is the development through science and engineering of useful biological catalysts and their commercial applications.
David’s talk was focused on EnzymeMiner, a web server for automated screening of diverse enzyme family members and their prioritization for experimental characterization. The second introduced tool was SoluProt, a new webserver for sequence-based prediction of soluble protein expression.
