Aliaksandra at AAIC 2026

Our PhD student, Aliaksandra Kursit, recently attended the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC2026) in London. Aliaksandra presented her research poster highlighting the development of a screening method that identified several existing drugs capable of binding to ApoE4—a key protein linked to Alzheimer’s disease. Among these, two promising compounds stood out by effectively blocking the protein’s toxic clumping, offering potential starting points for new Alzheimer’s treatments.
