Environmental Excursions

As part of the course Environmental Excursions, students from the Faculty of Science, Masaryk University, had the opportunity to visit the information center at the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant, tour the Respono waste sorting facility, and the adjacent composting plant at the Kozlany landfill. They also learned about the biogas plant in Velesovice and explored the central composting plant in Brno.

The excursion, organized by Michal Vasina from Loschmidt Laboratories, RECETOX, offered rare behind-the-scenes access and direct interaction with experts, making the experience both insightful and inspiring.
