Faraneh Earns a Doctoral Degree

We are delighted to celebrate the successful defense of Faraneh Haddadi’s PhD thesis, “Integrating Machine Learning with Structural Protein Analysis.”

Faraneh has completed her PhD in Environmental Health Sciences at RECETOX, Faculty of Science at Masaryk University, under the supervision of Stanislav Mazurenko.

Her research explored the intersection of structural and computational biology, machine learning, and explainable AI, resulting in three scientific publications and an invited talk at the XXVIII Enzyme Engineering Conference in Denmark. She also made significant contributions to teaching.

During her defense, Faraneh clearly presented her research and successfully addressed questions from the reviewers, Prof. Aleksandra Marsavelski (University of Zagreb, Croatia) and Dr. Mehdi Davari (Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry, Halle, Germany).
