From Classrooms to Practice: Excursions for Students
The end of the fall semester was marked by field trips that showed Faculty of Science students the real possibilities for their future careers.
Pharmaceutical field trips: Students visited the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute, St. Anne’s University Hospital, the Institute for State Control of Veterinary Biologicals and Medicines, and FAVEA. They learned about drug logistics, veterinary product control, and the entire production cycle for dietary supplements.
Biotechnology excursions: At Enantis, PSI, Contipro, and BioVendor, students saw applications of growth factors, hyaluronic acid production in bioreactors, and the production of modern diagnostics.
We would like to thank all the host institutions for their excellent organization and inspiring insight into the professional environment!
