Research interests

David Kovar is interested in various analytical tools for the characterization ofproteins and the detection of their activities, e.g., capillaryelectrophoresis, gas chromatography, fluorescence spectrometry, etc. Emphasisis placed on the application of high-throughput microfluidic tools. He developsautomatic microfluidic platforms and analytical software tools which are designedfor use with LabVIEW. He would like to increase analytical throughput in thelaboratory and minimize user actions during the analytical process.
