Research interests
Khushboo Rani is interested in investigating the aggregation of apolipoprotein E (ApoE) in membrane models relevant to Alzheimer’s disease. She focuses on developing and optimizing microfluidic platforms for the preparation of biomimetic vesicles, enabling detailed analysis of the physiological role of ApoE and its interaction with other relevant biomolecules (Aβ) in biological membrane environments. She further explores the applications of advanced microfluidic methods to monitor the physical properties of biological membranes and the disruption of their integrity.Education
