Jana and Jan Earn Doctoral Degrees

Big congratulations to Jana Horackova, PhD, and Jan Velecky, PhD!

They both completed the Environmental Health Sciences doctoral degree programme at RECETOX, Faculty of Science, Masaryk University.

Jana defended her doctoral thesis, entitled “Analysis of luciferase enzymes by molecular modeling,” under the supervision of David Bednar. Jan focused on “Predicting mutational properties of proteins with machine learning” under the supervision of Stanislav Mazurenko.

We wish Jana and Jan every success in their future endeavors.
